In the Dugout: MVP and Batting Champ, Kevin Newman

Falmouth Commodore’s Kevin Newman made history Wednesday night when he was awarded his second consecutive Thurman Munson Batting Champion Title – the first Cape Leaguer ever to do so. This comes after he became the first freshman to win the title last season in 2013. But one award wasn’t enough as he was awarded the honor of Cape League Pat Sorenti MVP just moments later. He joins Gabrielle Lucivero after winning the batting title to talk personal growth and team effort.
